Celebration of developments at the intersection of journalism and AI

The JournalismAI Festival on 3 and 4 December features conversations and case studies that explore the intersection of journalism and artificial intelligence. It is all about using AI to make journalism better.
All sessions will be held online. Registration is here.
JournalismAI is a project of Polis – the journalism think-tank at the London School of Economics and Political Science – and it’s supported by the Google News Initiative.
Journalism and AI have a representation problem when it comes to gender, race and ethnicity. Media professionals who identify as women or LGBTQ+, people of colour and those from the Global South and other marginalised communities, face significantly more challenges in getting their work recognised on the global stage.
JournalismAI recognises this disparity. Its commitment to striving for more equal and increased representation is a guiding principle across all of its activities. In the Festival, it aims to achieve a gender-balanced, inclusive and diverse programme. All speakers are invited as subject-matter experts and are not asked to talk about journalism and AI in an identity context.
The goal is for the Festival to bring to life the fascinating diversity of thought, opinion and experience in the global JournalismAI community.
